Truth Walks This Way

It dawned on me early this morning that God has been a gift giver to me and through me.  All Christians must know the greatest gift of His Son Jesus Christ but we tend to leave it at that. From time to time Christians see healing done in a miraculous manner and that healing prayer is "a process of doing the right things by prayer and supplication" and its up to God whether it happens or not. Looking back however I see generous gifts freely coming to me for others - a present to open, a new heart sweeping past me into a person and spiritual gifts bestowed on others. God has been a generous benevolent Father through Jesus Christ His Son who said He would live in us with the Father. Inside of us, those who have welcomed the Godhead into our lives, is the similitude of that same Godhead, thinking thoughts of life giving deeds as the Father thinks, loving these generous thoughts as our Jesus did and doing these mighty deeds as Holy Spirit did.

God being inside of us makes us like Himself, i.e. in His likeness. However we struggle with thoughts which inhibit heavenly generosity in and through us as though fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The forbidden fruits are the challenges to the thoughts of our Heavenly Father by the countering thoughts of confusion set before us by the destroyer. This place of confusion is the Babylon of the Bible and really not a place we want to inhabit. Adam and Eve in entering this confusion were set outside of the most fruitful place. Returning to a place of walking with God is to disregard the contrary voice which brings about confusion and fear, therefore ultimately inaction and consequently wrong action. Our Lord Jesus Christ is named the King of kings because He Himself first ruled over the voice of confusion by defeating the challenges of Satan in His forty days and nights in the desert and established once again the Way of walking with God as disciples who believe.

As disciples and kings of the King we ourselves must rule over our enemy and release ourselves from the chains and shackles of Babylon to reside in the city of the heavenly Jerusalem where is the Way, where all truth reigns, where all life lives. Christ Jesus stated we sit in heavenly places with Him and though we feel as though we live in a very terrestrial land with snakes and snares in fact we are over-comers only because we have something to overcome - Truth walks this Way.
